jparallax. cool jquery library. no idea how i’d use it. via ram.
Firebug :: Firefox Add-ons. old versions of firebug don’t work properly in firefox3. go get the 1.2 beta.
Processing.js. John Resig ported over a graphics API called processing to javascript and it uses the html canvas. seems like quite the task.
TableKit. nice and fast table plugin that does column resize, sorting, and editing. uses prototype though (and not jquery). via paul.
hoverIntent jQuery Plug-in. very handy for UI that is too responsive.
jQuery.ScrollTo. this guy wrote a bunch of well done plugins for doing in-page scrolling.
Ryan’s Scraps: What’s New in Edge Rails: Dirty Objects. i’d find this even more useful as a jquery plugin.
DebugBar - IE extension for web developer. basically firebug for IE.
Google Visualization API. now this is cool. from javascript, you can source a google spreadsheet and create data visualizations (check out the options in the gallery like heat maps, interactive graphs, gantt charts, etc). They even have the google finance interactive time-series gadget.
YouTube APIs and Tools - Google Code. customize the player, control it from javascript, embed it in other flash apps, and some cool features for managing uploaded content.
Facebook TextboxList with Autocompletion. that’s a pretty good trick of having the input box inside a fake input box.
FancyZoom 1.1. that’s some pretty cool javascript.
Coda-Slider. jquery plugin to create slidable panels (kinda like in the itunes music store).
Datejs - A JavaScript Date Library. the textbox for time range could be really useful if you need a graphing app that needs to do both 4-hour spans and 4-month spans.
Facebox 1.0. a facebook-style lightbox for jquery. i like hoe they implemented the extra css-class options in the relation tag.
Blue Anvil Journal ยป Anti-aliased Rounded corners with JQuery. 8k plugin for jQuery. looks pretty good.
Developer’s Guide - Google Chart API. google API for making charts. generates images. too bad they didn’t bundle some of that cool google finance flash stuff. via paul.
jQuery BlockUI Plugin. let’s you do modal dialogs and block-off page elements (like grey out a form once it’s submitted). not as simple as thickbox but uses jQuery.ajax so you have access to success/error/etc callbacks.
ThickBox. very easy to use lightbox/modal dialog for use with jQuery. i tried out a couple different ones and this was the winner.
