Colbert had his showdown with the Decemberists last night. It was a triumph for new media meta-comedy featuring Chris Punk (of the Decemberists), guitar legend Peter Frampton, Morley Safer (from 60 minutes), Governor-elect Elliot Spitzer, and Henry fuckin’ Kissinger.
