Obey Shepard. shepard fairey (obey giant) just had a show of new material in sanfran. here are some photos, more photos, and an interview. stuff isn’t much different from the old, still looks cool though.

hektor spraypaint. someone just showed me these videos. seems it was dugg. It’s a simple contraption with 2 motors hooked up to a computer that spray paints an image. very cool.

Drawing Restraint 9. seems matthew barney put together a new “movie”. i only saw part 3 of the cremaster cycle and it was probably the single craziest thing I’ve ever seen. just check the trailer to get an idea.

Banksy. graffiti artist pointed out to me by ludwig. this guy also hangs fake paintings at the Tate. quite funny. some of the stenciled paintings at the West Bank Wall are quite cool.
