		<description>Unless your GC number was your US phone number, it isn&#039;t a necessary requirement for an account. I have a GC number in NY, which forwards to my local Ottawa number. Use it all the time.

I&#039;ve also heard talk that they&#039;re going to extend GoogleVoice/GC into Canadian and European markets. Guess you&#039;ll just have to wait for a TO number!</description>
