the picture makes it seem like they have plenty of room to make the runway longer though…
i’m guessing lesotho isn’t renowned for it’s engineering or safety standards.
I think they’ve got more than enough problems on their hands with 50% of their population with AIDS. they can put the state of an airport on the back burner for a wee bit. Especially when there’s a perfectly good airport just down the road in South Africa
