that’s disgusting! I can’t believe you made me watch that!
yes, i “made” you watch it. i think my next post should be about how you can deposit your paycheck in my bank account. hopefully i can make you do that too.
fair warning, the review is a video of a monkey peeing in it’s mouth.
My brother sent me an email telling me this was an awesome album and I need to listen to it now, but he has bad taste in music so I don’t listen to him ever. Has anyone actually heard it to see how bad it is? Because I don’t trust Pitchfork either: their reviewers are all a bunch of wankers that hate music.
i wrote off pitchfork’s best new music section about a year ago but, you have to admit, that’s pretty funny.
I thought it was very good. Pitchfork are wankers. Read a track-by-track review on my website.
ah, stop lying, all of you. we all check pitchfork frequently and there’s no denying that those ‘wankers’ have held a key role in popularizing the majority the current indie rock scene - or whatever you want to call it. xiu xiu, broken social scene, black dice, dfa - whatever - pitchfork gives them all a hand. it’s impossible to avoid. it’s not the end of the world if you read a pitchfork.
also, jet is the one of most hackneyed piece of shit bands out there right now. i hate this rash of 70s nostalgic bands. i hate jet.
For the record: i never ever read pitchfork — ever ever ever. Though I don’t reallly read anything about music.
i’ll admit it, I check out pitchfork, but only to gawk at scoop backs and other AA erotica.
yeah, that website is getting NSFW. what with the monkey pee and verginia.
American Apparel is the bomb; but you can find their soft-porn all over the place now.
nothign soft porn about it. they use porn stars in their ads.
aa is really bizarre thing. it’s good that it isn’t sweatshop labour, but unfortunately, the clothes are really poorly made. plus, on the one hand you have the positive side of the no sweatshop, but on the other, you have their faintly unsettling ad campaign. check out some of the videos for the clothing. finally, the owner is out of his mind.
Sean, you were right about UHaul and you’re right about AA. I recently bought sweat pants. Look good, feel great, but falling apart (1 month old)
I’ve heard the womens clothes are better then the mens. I think the t-shirts are good. The 2 I have fit good and are holding up just fine. But, as you say, the owner is really, really creepy, so it’s not the best place to shop i’d say.
