Piczo Gets $4M – Mashable*. myspace/flickr-like site snags $4 million bucks in VC. Since 50% of it’s user are girls under 18 it’s (A) so ugly that geocities won’t even link to it and (B) heaven for pedophiles.

“[S]o ugly that geocities won’t even link to it”. Actually, searching “Piczo” via Geocities (http://us.geocities.yahoo.com/search?p=piczo) does in fact yield a few links. The shocker, though, is the context-sensitive ad that I received: “Purina DogChow – What if you could add up to two healthy years to your dog’s life?” I’m not sure if that’s a subtle reference to Piczo’s VC or if it’s Yahoo!’s default ad for all content on Geocities. Either way, those Yahoo! kids have an astute sense of humor.
