BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Film fans get permanent downloads. So you buy the dvd and you get to download a digital copy for free right away. this is such a good idea that I’m amazed any movie studio agreed to it. Although the content won’t work on ipod or psp, it’s a great step in the right direction. It also begs the question ‘why Amazon isn’t doing this?’

but did you notice the price? 20 UK pounds is $40.00 canadian.
considering amazon has it for 15 pounds (and has deep discounts on major dvd releases) that price ain’t bad.
That’s how things are in England though. CDs are about the same price they are here, but in pounds. I think for the British, that is a good deal.
um, EVERYTHING in england is the same number but in £’s. except alcohol and chocolate of course
