Biz not sure how to treat upstart YouTube. via paidcontent. this space is getting so interesting with two key factors: lots of online players (youtube, myspace, google video, etc) competing for viability and tv stations that aren’t repeating the foolish draconian approach to the online world like the RIAA . ABC is going to try offering all it’s shows online for a month, NBC is going to do online shorts for The Office, CBS is doing March Madness On Demand, and a PBS affiliate is now supporting on-demand with ads (granted lots of PBS stuff is already avail on demand like my beloved frontline).
